Chase has been emphasizing positive relationships this school year. We will celebrate Kindness Week, February 12th – February 16th; teachers and students will be involved in activities to promote kindness! We want students to understand that in order to collaborate with each other academically, we need to be respectful towards each other, too. We will send information home so that you know how your child is growing social-emotionally, as well.
Also, I hope you have the opportunity to visit ‘Meet the Monroe Cabinet’ on Thursday, February 8th, 4:30- 6:00pm. Come to Monroe HS and see what Chase ES and other schools have been emphasizing in the classrooms this year.
I would like to congratulate Mr. Jose Balza for his many years working at Chase ES! Mr. Balza retired on January 31st. We wish him happiness on his next venture in life! Thank you for your service, Mr. Balza!
Lastly, a warm welcome to Mrs. Marcee Seegan, Chase’s Acting Principal, as I recover from knee surgery. Please continue to support your children and realize Attendance is the first step to Academic Success. Hope to see you in mid-March for Parent Conference Week!
***Also, please look over the 2017-17 District’s and Chase’s Parent Involvement Policy and Chase’s updated Title I School Parent Compact (mailed 11/30/17).***
Chase ES is a No-Bully Zone.
