March, 2019

Chase Parents,

Thank you to all our parents who attended Parent Conferences! You are such a part of our learning ‘team’; we always want to work to together. In March, we to continue with emphasizing the importance of reading and celebrate, Read Across America Week, March 4th – 8th, ending the week celebrating Dr. Seuss! As Dr. Seuss quotes, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go.” We at Chase want to take your children to many places through books! We are continuing with our school-wide small groups for working and improving on reading skills. Please assist your child and make sure they read at the minimum of 20 minutes each night. You, too, can make sure your children will go to many places through reading!

We also want to invite you to our Open House, Tuesday, March 26th, 4:30pm, PTA food sale, 4:45pm – 5:45pm, classroom visitations; come visit your child’s classroom and continue to visit the next year’s grade level classrooms. Come and check out how hard all Chase students are working. This year we will emphasize Science, Arts and Math, through the STEAM Night presentations in all classes. Hope to see you!

Thank you also for all your well wishes! I am excited to be back and hopefully see you March 26th, if not sooner!

Thank you teachers for your hard work and dedication!

Also, please look for the District’s and Chase’s Parent Involvement Policy and Chase’s updated Title I School Parent Compact that will be arriving soon in your mailboxes (mailed 11/30/18).
