~~4/3 – 4/10, LAUSD SPRING BREAK~ 4/13, Remote Learning Resumes~~
As you know LAUSD and Chase ES are dedicated to the Health and Safety of all students, parents and faculty. Therefore, all LAUSD schools are closed. However, the teaching and learning continues but in a different way called ‘Remote Teaching’. Remote Teaching allows student learning to continue, even through the school closure. Each student in Grades 3 – 5 will be given devices and for grades PALS – 2, students have been given teacher packets. Each teacher has made themselves available during ‘Office Hours’ and weekly schedules are available.
***An Important Reminder: LAUSD Spring Break will be Friday, April 3rd – Friday, April 10th. Teachers will resume with ‘Remote Learning’ beginning Monday, April 13th*** We wish you a very SAFE and HEALTHY Spring Break!

UPDATED, Also, beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, a Community Resource Center will be open at Byrd Middle School, Panorama High School, Sepulveda Middle School from 7:00am-10:00am, weekdays, to provide for ‘Grab and Go Food Centers’ to get 2 nutritional meals per child (no childcare). Please refer to lauds.net for more locations.

LAUSD has launched a Mental Health Hotline to help students and families cope with the challenges of the coronavirus crisis. The hotline, which can be reached at 213-241-3840, will be staffed by counselors and mental health professionals M-F from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Hotline operators will be available to speak to people in English and Spanish.
